Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This policy explains the ownership of intellectual property ("IP") relating to the work we create, the tools we build on, and the content on this website.
Ownership of deliverables
Unless a signed project agreement says otherwise, ownership of all deliverables — designs, code, copy, and other project assets — transfers to the client in full upon receipt of final payment. Before that point, all work in progress remains the property of Solvey.
This website
All content on solvey.in — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and the site's underlying code — is the property of Solvey unless otherwise indicated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.
Third-party tools and frameworks
We build on open-source frameworks, libraries, fonts, and stock assets. These remain under their respective licences and are not transferred to clients as Solvey IP. Where a project uses commercial third-party licences, we will advise you of any licence obligations that fall to you as the end owner of the deliverable.
Portfolio rights
We reserve the right to feature completed work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials. If you require confidentiality, please let us know in writing before project commencement and we will accommodate that in the project agreement.
Client-supplied materials
You retain ownership of all materials you supply to us — logos, images, copy, data, and other content. By supplying them you confirm you hold the rights to use them and grant us a limited licence to use them solely for the purposes of completing your project.
Prohibited use
- Do not claim ownership of our proprietary tools, methodologies or processes.
- Do not reproduce or distribute our website content without permission.
- Do not reverse-engineer, copy, or resell deliverables before transfer of ownership is complete.
Infringement claims
If you believe any content on our site infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at hello@solvey.in with full details and we will investigate promptly.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Indian courts.
